Yuan Yuan & the Hollow Monster
In 2019 - 2020, I wrote, directed, and produced an animated short film that was nominated for a Student Academy Award and spotlighted in the NY Times. It won Best Animation for Kids at the Animation Block Party when competing with studio pilots from around the world, and is currently on Japan's short film streamer, Samansa (2022). Moreover, it has been showcased at over 30 film festivals in 2020.
Domain Mobile Game
In 2017-2019, I directed and produced a location-based mobile game called Domain at USC Games, with mentors from Riot Games and Zynga. This project was showcased to the CEO and Head of Studios at Niantic, and Head of Interactive at CAA.
As the director and producer, I managed a team of 20 full-time students and 15 additional freelancers to create this engineering feat using the latest AR, map, networking, and database technology at the time. We watched the magic unfold as adults ran, hid, and played just like kids again!
